Plot & Summary
If you have to believe the movies, Scandinavian teens drink well before they’re legally allowed to, have elaborate conversations about sex with their friends and spend way more time partying than they do in school. The original title literally means 'Super Adult', but the international title Triple Dare makes sense as well. The movie is about three fifteen-year-old girls who have been best friends since kindergarten. They learn something in school about rites of passage that are celebrated to show a person’s coming of age. One of the girls, Rebekka (played by Emma Leth), thinks Confirmation doesn’t mean anything and thinks the three of them should make their own ritual. Remember cootie catchers? Rebekka’s friend Claudia (Amalie Lindegård) happens to have one with her, and the three girls decide to use it on their road to adulthood. They each write a dare on the flaps that they have to take and finish within one week. These dares include “make someone believe you are a hooker”, which has Rebekka on a street corner with a blue wig. Rebekka is the main character, and of her two friends, Claudia seems to be the one with the more interesting life. However you don't need to have a trained lesbian eye to realize there is something going on between Rebekka’s other friend Sofie (Cathrine Bjørn) and her boss Katrine at the diner where she works. The storyline the movie is primarily worth watching for starts when Sofie gets her first dare. She is to French kiss another girl, and refuses at first, but somehow there is the following screenshot of her and Katrine in a surreal white and blue ball pit.
